Virtual Album Store (VAS) is operated by Castlemeghan Ltd.

This Refund Policy explains the circumstances in which refunds may be requested for products purchased through the Virtual Album Store platform, website, or mobile applications.

  1. GENERAL PRINCIPLES

Virtual Album Store provides a marketplace through which Artists and Originators sell digital and physical media directly to customers.

VAS aims to ensure that customers receive the products they have purchased in a timely and satisfactory manner.

Refund requests are assessed fairly and in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.

  1. DIGITAL DOWNLOADS

Digital products may include:

  • Music Singles
    • Albums
    • EPs
    • Video Downloads
    • Mini Movies
    • 360° Virtual Content
    • Other Digital Media

Once a digital product has been successfully downloaded, streamed, or accessed, customers generally lose their statutory right to cancel under applicable consumer legislation.

Accordingly, digital purchases are normally non-refundable once delivery has commenced.

  1. DIGITAL PRODUCTS ELIGIBLE FOR REFUND

A refund may be considered where:

  • The purchased file cannot be downloaded.
    • The file is corrupted or defective.
    • The content supplied is materially different from its description.
    • Duplicate payments have been processed.
    • The product was purchased due to a technical fault within the VAS platform.

Refund requests must normally be submitted within 14 days of purchase.

  1. DIGITAL PRODUCTS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR REFUND

Refunds will generally not be issued where:

  • The customer changes their mind.
    • The customer no longer wishes to own the content.
    • The customer purchased the wrong product by mistake.
    • The customer dislikes the artistic content, style, genre, or performance.
    • The customer has already downloaded or accessed the content successfully.
  1. PHYSICAL PRODUCTS

Physical products may include:

  • CDs
    • Limited Edition Releases
    • Approved Merchandise
    • Other Physical Media

Artists are responsible for fulfilling physical product orders.

Customers may request a refund, replacement, or exchange where:

  • Goods arrive damaged.
    • Goods are defective.
    • Goods do not match their description.
    • Goods are not delivered within a reasonable timeframe.
  1. CANCELLATION OF PHYSICAL ORDERS

Customers may be entitled to cancel eligible physical product purchases within 14 days of receipt under applicable consumer legislation.

Returned products must:

  • Be unused where appropriate.
    • Be returned in reasonable condition.
    • Include original packaging where possible.

Return postage costs may be the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or supplied incorrectly.

    • Order number
    • Product purchased
    • Reason for refund request

Additional information may be requested where necessary.

  1. REFUND TIMESCALES

Approved refunds are normally processed within 5 to 10 working days.

Actual receipt of funds may depend on the customer’s bank or payment provider.

  1. CHARGEBACKS

Customers are encouraged to contact VAS before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback through their bank or card issuer.

Where a chargeback is initiated, VAS reserves the right to investigate the claim and provide relevant transaction records to the payment processor.

  1. ARTIST RESPONSIBILITIES

Artists remain responsible for:

  • Accuracy of product descriptions.
    • Product quality.
    • Delivery of physical goods.
    • Resolution of fulfilment issues relating to physical products.

VAS reserves the right to recover refund costs from Artists where refund requests arise due to inaccurate descriptions, defective content, or non-delivery.

  1. POLICY CHANGES

Castlemeghan Ltd may amend this Refund Policy from time to time.

Any revised version will be published on the Virtual Album Store website and mobile applications.
