Terms & Conditions for Artists & Originators
The platform is exclusively for Artists and Originators and all applications to join the platform will be vetted accordingly.
The Platform will offer a direct selling service covering 3 products:
A/ Encoded downloads of music on an individual basis in all formats.
B/ The opportunity to sell CD’s either Held in stock by the artist/originator or as may be newly produced for the purpose of direct sale.
C/ Sale of videos and mini movies by download either already produced or in a standard or 360 virtual format
D/ Full bank account details will be required on acceptance for remittance purposes.
Responsibilities
On all occasions the artist will be responsible for
A/ All aspects of protection under such items as performer rights.
B/ Delivery and postage of Hard copy products such as CD’s etc
C/ All financial matters following direct receipt of sales proceeds such as VAT and income tax or financial splits between writers, musicians or their management.
D/ All aspects of product marketing
E/ Product content and quality for items not directly produced by the Castlemeghan Brand.
Pricing
Essentially Artist & Originators will determine individual product prices The financial arrangements will be agreed with https://virtualalbumstore.com before listing.
Pricing Structure For Artists
The Artist/originator has settled on a Recommended Retail Price for their product of £1.25 (Single) and £10.25 (Album) sterling.
Virtual Album Store deducts 10% of total sale
Stripe deducts a 20p Transaction and 1.4% of total sale.
All remaining monies are paid directly into the Artists bank account on a regular monthly basis (10th of each month)
Product prices are fixed by the Artist subject to these recommended R.R.P’s:
If product prices are fixed by the Artist to these R.R.P.’s:
Single £1.25
EP/Video £4.25
Album £10.25
Then Artists Margin on these monies are:
Non vat registered – Single £0.91/ EP/Video £3.57/ Album £8.88
Vat registered – Single £0.76/ EP/Video £2.97/ Album £7.40
